WHAT AN EVENT!!

The South Pennine cyclo-cross at Allestree Park today was another showpiece event for the club. Organiser Heather Wimble and her faithful band of helpers carried on where Russell Cox left off with another quality event for other clubs to aspire to even match. Heather even got the weather right.

There were 62  riders in the under 10s, 41 in the youths and 184 starters in the senior race. This is a modern day record for the league. The nice wide fast course made for a smooth passage for everyone and the races passed off with minimal incidents. Great to also see many of our members turning up to spectate.

Well done to all involved including our 4 faithful riders.
